Why Join the BIPOCAC?
The BIPOCAC is a Call to Action insisting that Canadian Universities live up to their claims and legal requirements of racial equity, recruitment, retention, inclusion, disruption, and the other countless statements that have become window dressing from higher education’s status quo to pacify the general Canadian public. Primarily, we aim to do this through the unity of BIPOC academics in standing together to push for tangible change and create a space where we are no longer divided and isolated. By 2023, we hope to formalize an organizational structure that will assist us in achieving our goals. If you share in these convictions of real equity, please join us.
